New Location Opens

The Gallery's new Water Street location was finally opened for business on Friday, November 26, 2004. Response so far from friends and customers to the new space has been overwhelmingly positive. Many people have commented on the new Gallery's feeling of warmth and intimacy and its friendly yet contemplative atmosphere. As one collector put it, "this is a place where I feel I want to come and spend half an afternoon just chatting and looking at art."

The new space was officially christened at a
well-attended party held on the evening of Saturday, November 20. Guests were treated to live jazz, fine food and a performance of modern dance, in addition to the Gallery's winter show of experimental prints from Baker Lake.

The new space's long cement wall gives the Gallery double the wall space of its former location.

Both of the Gallery's locations will be open during the month of December as we continue
to complete the transition and settle into our new home.
